The WPSL International Combine will be hosted by WFC Charlotte January 8th-11th, 2024 at the state-of-the-art OrthoCarolina Sports Complex in Charlotte. Training sessions and games will be held on artificial turf at this landmark facility providing some security against possible wet weather.
Wet or cool weather will not be a factor with Cappelli Sport, one of our strong supporters and sponsors, providing our players cool weather training gear on the first day of the event. WFC Charlotte athletic trainers will be in attendance for the duration of the event, providing top level pre/post session care to all our athletes.
As plans continue to evolve more international coaches have committed to attend the Charlotte event. Mister Jacopo Leandri and Mister Mattia Volpi of the Italian Soccer Federation (FIGC) have joined the list of coaches and evaluators at our upcoming combine. Both of these coaches are part of a professional staff within the Italian Soccer Federation (F.I.G.C) and have had the opportunity to coach the Italian Women’s U23 team; Coach Jacopo as the head coach and Coach Volpi as the goal keeping coach/trainer.
SICS based in Bassano Del Grappa in northern Italy will be our video analysts for the event, ensuring training sessions and games are posted of SICS.TV. The SICS.TV platform will connect our combine players to women’s clubs and leagues around the globe.
